Rainwater harvesting systems for gardens permit the storage and usage of the rainwater for garden irrigation from spring to autumn. The rainwater can also be used for car washing = cleaning around the house, etc. Rainwater harvesting quite simply collects the rain which falls onto the roof, flows along the gutter, through the down pipe and into the underground tank. A mechanical filter is integrated in the tank shaft to take out the leaves and grit and ensure that clean water enters the storage tank. There is an overflow facility that will divert the excess rainwater to the drain if the tank is full.
Using a standard garden hose or aboveground water sprinklers is an efficient way to water a garden.
Our system includes a complete rainwater storage unit, with rainwater tank, filterandoverflowsiphon,amulti-stagesingle-phasepumpwithfloatingballandfiltersieveanda separate garden box.

GARDEN filter - collecting filter
When excess rainwater flows in to infiltration system, the tank is fitted with a collecting filter that retains the leaves and grit and therefore requires regular cleaning to avoid silting of the infiltration system.
As the roof-collected rainwater runs down your gutter it picks up pieces of dirt and transports them into your rainwater tank. To prevent dirt from getting into the tank, a filter is provided to "filter" the rainwater before it enters the tank. Impurities accumulated in the filter need to be removed. Open the lid, take out the basket and remove all debris. We recommend that you rinse the basket with running water to clean filter meshes of smaller pieces of dirt.Operating principle of the collecting filter:
- Rainwater collection from the downpipe,
- Debris are held by a small-mesh filter (filter mesh size 0,55 mm),
- Rainwater collecting from another pipe (when rainwater is collected from two downpipes),
- Purified rainwater flows into the underground tank.
Features:
- Easy construction,
- Dirt collecting basket to avoid silting of the infiltration system,
- Excellent filter efficiency.
COMPACT filter - flow filter
When excess rainwater flows into storm drains or general sewers, the tank is fitted with a flow filter that doesn't require regular cleaning.
As the roof-collected rainwater runs down your gutter it picks up pieces of dirt and transports them into your rainwater tank. To prevent dirt from getting into the tank, a filter is provided to "filter" the rainwater before it enters the tank. Impurities accumulated in the filter are periodically cleaned out in heavy downpours as rainwater runs down the gutter at high speed. We recommend that you take out the filter insert every few months and rinse it with running rainwater to remove smaller pieces of dirt.Operating principle of the flow filter:
- Rainwater collection from the downpipe,
- Debris are held by a 0,17 mm small-mesh filter,
- Purified rainwater flows into storm drains.
FEATURES:
- Easy construction,
- Automatic operation,
- Excellent filter efficiency.
Plastic lid A15 and cast-iron lid A 15
You can close your tank with a plastic (PE) lid or a cast-iron lid with a frame. Both lids are A15 class, i.e. they withstand load up to 1500 kg sq m. Lids withstanding higher loads that A15, i.e. B125, C250 or higher, are available on request.
AquaBlok
In periods of heavy rain the storage tank can overflow and the excess rainwater must be drained away. The AquaBlok® is an ideal solution for draining of excess rainwater collected from the roof where there are no storm drains, watercourse or sewers for runoff.
Made from high quality polyethylene the 150 l AquaBlok® weighs 8 kg, is easy to transport and withstands vertical load up to 2,5 t/sq m. The package comprises two AquaBloks with an almost ideal 54 cm cube design and a geotextile fabric to prevent water and grit from getting into the boxes. The system effectively enables sinking of the rainwater collected in the infiltration boxes into the surrounding ground. The package of two AquaBloks and a geotextile fabric can drain up to 50 sq m of the roof. Bigger roof areas require additional AquaBlok modules.
AquaBloks withstanding vertical load up to 15 t/sq m are available on request.
Several pieces of AquaBlok® can be installed in an upright or horizontal position. After installing and connecting with rainwater pipe to the storage tank the whole unit is tightly wrapped in the geotextile fabric and covered with earth. AquaBlok® can also serve for rainwater infiltration when the rainwater storage tank is not provided.

AquaBloks withstanding vertical load up to 15 t/sq m are available on request.
FEATURES:
- Made from environment-friendly polyethylene,
- Easy to separate in two or more pieces,
- Suitable for every type of ground,
- Resistant to mechanical damage and easily transported,
- Withstand vertical load up to 2,5 t/sq m,
- Simple and fast installation,
- Easily connected to drain pipes.
AQUABLOK DRAINAGE SYSTEM INSTALLATION
Prior to AquaBlok® installation a semipermeable geotextile fabric must be disposed in the trench. Please observe the ground parameters (permeable, semipermeable or impermeable ground) and roof area's water catchment yield (according to the roof size and geographic location of the building).Several pieces of AquaBlok® can be installed in an upright or horizontal position. After installing and connecting with rainwater pipe to the storage tank the whole unit is tightly wrapped in the geotextile fabric and covered with earth. AquaBlok® can also serve for rainwater infiltration when the rainwater storage tank is not provided.
Garden box installation
The garden box comprises a housing in high-grade polyethylene, lockable lid, automatic switch with integrated dry-run protection, plug-type adapters for garden hosepipe connection with valve and polyethylene water pipe connection, emptying valve for emptying the system before winter, submersible pump switch and power cable for 230V power supply connection.
The Maximum distance from tank to junction box is 15 m.
Before starting the system, you must open the box, plug the power cable and connect the garden hose. In the event of the rain stocks running dry the system can be switched to mains water supply to ensure a continuity of service. The system can be installed after the house has been built.
